Coaching Programmes

I hereby acknowledge that I have read and understand Spin bowling clinic or SBC terms and conditions.

Prices for private coaching session are subject change without prior notice.
At their sole discretion, SBC coaches reserve the right to restrict clients to a particular activity.
SBC coaches are subject to change without notice.
SBC reserves the right to change or cancel any sessions if necessary.
Please note that places are limited and will be allocated on a first come first served basis
In the unlikely event that a program is cancelled by SBC due to insufficient numbers, at minimum of 48 hours’ notice will be given and a refund or credit towards another program may be offered.

Bookings/Payments

Private coaching

Session can be booked via text or email and directly speak to Eranga.
At a time making a block booking of (max 6 session) due to high demand.
You can pay either cash or online bank transfer (Cheques not accepted)

Spin Academy

Using online booking form session or programme can be booked.
All above programme requires an up-front payment for the total value of the programme.
Booking and payment is to be completed prior to any SBC sessions and programme.

Spin Camp

Using an invitational online booking form can be booked.
All participants must pay £500 non-refundable fees when signing up with this programme.
Rest of the payment must be paid 30 days before the tour.

Spin Hub, Grip & Rip and Spin education

Formal invitation requires to booked about programme(s).
Invoice payment for all above programme.
50% up-front payment and the balance payment must pay within 14 days after the event
Or online registration and dedicated online payment system allocated to pay

Spin consultancy

Formal invitation requires to booked about programme.
Negotiable contract between the two parties. Including the job description salary, flights, accommodation, insurances and transportation.

Cancellation and Refund Policies

For cancellations more than 7 days prior to the commencement of SBC group program a full refund, less a £10 administration fee, will be given.
In the event of the venue not becoming available due to fire, technical or unusable reason, the session will be abandoned the cost of the missed session will not be refundable will offer you a credit note for a future private coaching session of the same value.
In the case of pandemic or dieses all sessions will be immediately cancelled and missed session will not be refundable will offer you a credit note for a future private coaching session of the same value.
All cancellations are to be provided in writing and sent via email to info@spinbowlingclinic.com

Private Coaching

SBC requires at least 2hrs-24hrs notice should you need to cancel a private coaching session. The session fee will need to be paid to cover the missed or cancelled session.
If you’re informed within the period of the notice timeline session can be rescheduled.

Medical Consent

If your child has a medical condition you are strongly advised to seek a doctor’s advice before booking.
If your child has a medical condition and is unable to obtain clearance from a doctor, then he/she cannot participate in our programs.
In the event of any accident or illness, the parent/guardian authorises any medical assistance/hospital treatment that your child may require. You accept full responsibility for all expenses incurred.
By enrolling your child, you declare that your child is fit to participate in all activities and consent to release Spin bowling clinic, the Director & all staff from any claim or liability arising directly or indirectly from the programmed activities. You also indemnify SBC against responsibility for any accident, loss, injury, illness or death suffered by your child during the course of these activities.

Safety Rules and Regulations

You understand that it is expected that your children’s behaviours will be exemplary at all times in order for the safe conduct of the event
If at any time the supervisor/coach considers your child is jeopardising the safety of others and/or disrupting the event then he/she may be asked to stop participating until further notice. SBC staff will contact parents/guardians to provide a full report of the incident.

Wet Weather Policy

Cancellation of an event due to wet weather is dependent on the location of the particular event.
Please do not contact SBC as we will be in touch with you via the provided email, text or voice massage to notify you of any cancellations.
If you do not hear from SBC, the event will run as normal. Most events are conducted in the rain unless the venue is not suitable or safe for play, in which case is judged by SBC Staff.
Where an event is located with the option of indoor facilities, the event will not be cancelled.
Private coaching sessions are conducted indoors so are unaffected by weather.

Photos/Videos

SBC may take photos on the day for promotional marketing purposes and media publications relating solely to SBC. Photos/images will not be provided to third parties, SBC reserves the right to use their content for advertising purposes on your consent.
SBC may use video equipment as a coaching aid as and when appropriate. Players and parents/carers may view the footage and know that the material taken in connection with coaching will be stored securely and will be deleted / destroyed upon requests, or when the material is no longer needed.

Informed Consent

By completing any registration forms online, you give your consent that you have read this document in its entirety, understand and accept all terms and conditions and code of conduct. Any form of booking and/or participating in an SBC program, including submitting the online booking forms or booking a private coaching session online, is classed as consent.

Participants/Parent Responsibilities:

Ensure that all participants partake in a way that enables the enjoyment of all involved.
Ensure to bring your child on time to the session.
SBC rules and regulations in regards to activity and safety rules are adhered to. This will ensure the safety and wellbeing of all involved.
Payments are made when required and terms and conditions are accepted prior to participation.

Over decades of my experience coaching spinners, it’s always a game of patience developing spin bowlers. It is so important that we are patient in helping them, understanding their needs and observing deeply more often when we say something to them.

Practice doesn’t depend on just bowling, rather it requires a continuous awareness of the flow of consciousness and feeling and sensing whatever is happening – composing yourself and always being aware of that flow.

Unfortunately, there is an expectation amongst some coaches and some captains I witnessed that all wrist spinners should bowl like Shane Warne, when in fact it is likely no one ever will.

Players must focus on developing the fundamental skills of bowling, for these are what exposed at the higher levels.

Encourage a rhythmical approach to the crease, with a gradual build up in momentum allowing the spinner to explode through the crease.
